Jerry Geddes combines his extensive knowledge of financial products and services with his acumen as an experienced Certified Public Accountant. As a financial advisor, it is Jerry’s goal to break down barriers – such as fear, overconfidence, or lack of understanding – that keep people from seeking professional advisement. He encourages everyone, regardless of age, gender, or financial status, to consider working with a financial professional to navigate the ever-changing tax law landscape.
Jerry majored in Accounting and graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree. He holds his FINRA series 7 (General Securities Representative Examination) and 66 (Uniform Combined State Law Examination) registrations and holds his Virginia Life & Health Insurance License. Over the course of Jerry’s career, he has helped over 1,600 individuals and 400 small businesses organize their financial life. Jerry began his accounting career in 1981 working for a small local accounting firm. In 1991, he tapped into his entrepreneurial spirit and started his own firm.
When not at work, Jerry spends time with his wife, Cindy, and his golden doodle coworker, Stanley. He is an aspiring author of historical fiction novels. He spends time with his two grandsons on the weekends, is an avid foodie, and enjoys working out. Jerry spent 10 years volunteering for the Appalachia Service Project, organized by the Arlington Temple United Methodist Church.
